One Spring Day

A place for healing & recovering of a broken soul

The things you left behind.

Perhaps someday – or perhaps never – you can understand the number of precious things you left behind.

When you closed that door behind you, the last and only thing you saw was just ME and our long-jaded marriage.

Little did you know…

You left behind the utmost respect everyone had for you. My friends, your friends, my family, (some of) your family.

You left behind the admiration of the children that know of you. My friends’ children, my nieces, my nephews, most of whom you have never had the chance to meet.

You left behind the shock, the disappointment, the hurt, the pain to more people than you could imagine.

Feelings will turn into wind; and eventually blow away like everything else in this life.

I regret you never have the chance to fully understand the calamity of your decision.

I regret you haven’t yet known what you lost.

Time will heal everything, but Time can’t bring back all the lost feelings. So, I regret…
