One Spring Day

A place for healing & recovering of a broken soul

Thanksgiving 2024

This year, I spent a significant part of Thanksgiving day roaming around the muddy terrain of a state park, a bit of a drive from home.

While people were gathering with families and friends; I was learning to embrace solitude. Apparently it’s part of growth and a sign of confidence, or so I read. Along the way, I stumbled upon parts of the park I never knew existed: mossy trees and tiny creeks, little bridges and untrodden paths. Perhaps that’s the beauty of life? You set out searching for one thing yet end up discovering something entirely unexpected.

I am grateful for everything I have and, even more so, for what I have lost. But above all, I am thankful for my Clarity and Strength, things I’m striving to hold on to.
